Are you registered to vote? Get every voice heard

You use Poll Everywhere to respond in the classroom. At an all hands meeting. During a certification training session. You vote on what you want to review before an exam, to review next in the upcoming strategy or what you want to order for lunch. But, we’re going to take a break from sharing all the ways you can vote with our product, for another very important vote: in the upcoming election.

It’s no secret that voting and civic engagement are at the heart of our mission, we are as much a voting software as we are an audience response system. The core of our product is to have every voice heard, in any room. We believe that this should be reflected in our elections as well. Voting is crucial for the preservation of our democracy, and a cornerstone of our nation’s success.

In the United States, it’s National Voter Registration Day. 2020 also marks a presidential election year. With COVID-19 upending our daily lives, getting registered to vote and casting your ballot will be more involved than typical election years.  More than 15 million people in the US have turned 18 since the last election, and will be casting their presidential election ballots for the first time. It’s imperative that we encourage and support everyone to check their voter registration status, get registered to vote, and easily find out how to either vote-by-mail or how to find a polling place.

Below are a few resources to check voter registration status, register to vote, how to request a mail-in ballot, voting deadlines by state, and where to find a polling place.
