People have been using Poll Everywhere to make word clouds and tag clouds for years. Now, we've made it even easier with a simple two-step process for our favorite word cloud services: Wordle, Tagxedo, and Tagul.  You'll find a new view called "Word cloud" on your Free Text Polls.

Here's an example word cloud from a talk where Ev and Biz (the founders of Twitter) used Poll Everwhere to collect questions from the audience.

We've updated our Free Text Polls to give you some more playful, creative message displays. Maybe you already tried the CNN-style ticker. 

Well, here's another visual layout for Free Text Polls, called "cluster". 

You can customize your poll's visual settings by clicking on the gear icon on the top left hand corner that says 'Settings' on the live chart view of your poll.

Click the Messages tab and then choose 'Cluster' under Message Effect from the variety of different themes for your Free Text Poll.

Play around - if you come up with an especially beautiful poll, let us know. Hopefully it's a total cluster! ;)
